About the Authors

Dr. Eugene C. Toy is a dual-certified family physician and obstetrician-gynecologist serving as Academic Chief and Program Director at The Methodist Hospital’s obstetrics and gynecology residency program in Houston, Texas. He also leads the obstetrics-gynecology clerkship at Christus St. Joseph Hospital and actively mentors medical students.

Dr. Cynthia R. Skinner DeBord holds an adjunct faculty position in Biology at Tomball College in Texas. She previously served as microbiology course director at UT–Houston School of Medicine.
